Zhaiyq – Quanysh 3–0 (26–24, 25–17, 25–15)

Viktor Kozik’s team secured its first victory of the season, defeating the visiting side from Petropavlovsk.

The Uralsk club needed just three sets to claim the win. Only the opening set was closely contested, with the score remaining tight throughout. After that, the home team left no doubt about its superiority.

The reigning champions stumbled once again in the opening match of the round. In the first and second rounds, Marat Adryshev’s team also lost its matches against Okzhetpes and Aktobe, but went on to claim revenge in the return games.
