THE 1st CONFERENCE OF THE KNVF HELD

The 1st Conference of the Kazakhstan National Volleyball Federation (KNVF) has taken place.
The conference was attended by representatives of regional federations, sports organizations, volleyball clubs, and members of the Conference. During the meeting, a number of important issues were addressed, aimed at further developing volleyball in Kazakhstan, improving the competition organization system, and enhancing the quality of national championships.
The agenda included discussions on improving the organizational and financial mechanisms for holding the championships of the Republic of Kazakhstan for men's and women's teams.
Specifically, the issue of approving remuneration standards for referee crews officiating matches in the National League, Major League, Under-21 Reserve League, and Youth League championships was considered. This decision aims to establish a unified approach to evaluating referees' work and increase the financial transparency of the competitions.
In addition, the meeting reviewed the approval of unified standards for reimbursing daily expenses of teams and competition participants within the territory of Kazakhstan.
During the conference, an initiative was also proposed to gradually establish a prize fund for the National League championship. At the initial stage, the prize fund is planned to be introduced at the National League level.
Proposed prize fund:
1st place — 10,000,000 tenge
2nd place — 5,000,000 tenge
3rd place — 3,000,000 tenge
4th place — 1,000,000 tenge
The establishment of the prize fund is viewed as an important step toward supporting club development, incentivizing athletes and coaches, and increasing competitiveness in national championships.
The issues raised during the conference are aimed at further improving the organizational and sporting system of volleyball in Kazakhstan.
The KNVF will continue its work on developing domestic volleyball, elevating the level of national championships, and strengthening the club system.
