Kazakhstan Women’s Team Claimed Second Victory at CAVA
The CAVA Women’s Volleyball Championship 2026 is taking place in Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal, from May 22 to 29, reports sportarena.kz.
Kazakhstan’s women’s national team played its second match at the Central Asian championship (CAVA Women’s Volleyball Championship) in Kathmandu.
The team coached by Askar Shalkibekov faced Bangladesh. As a result, Kazakhstan claimed a confident 3-0 victory (25:6, 25:9, 25:11).
On May 25, Kazakhstan will face Iran in its final group-stage match.
It is worth noting that Kazakhstan did not participate in the previous two editions of the CAVA Women’s Volleyball Championship held in 2024 and 2025.
