Kazakhstan Volleyball Federations and Russian Become Partners
On May 15, a memorandum of cooperation was signed in Moscow between the Russian Volleyball Federation and the Kazakhstan Volleyball Federation. The agreement was signed by Secretary General Alexander Yaremenko on behalf of the Russian Volleyball Federation and by First Vice President Arman Kabesov on behalf of the Kazakhstan Volleyball Federation.
“During the recent visit of the Russian Volleyball Federation delegation to Kazakhstan, we discussed with our colleagues the prospects for developing our working relations, including the possibility of organizing joint competitions, participation of Kazakh clubs in the Russian Volleyball Super League championship, and the development of youth volleyball,” Alexander Yaremenko noted. “The memorandum signed today is a logical continuation of the work that began earlier and opens new opportunities for promoting and developing volleyball in our countries.”
During the signing ceremony, the parties also discussed issues related to strengthening bilateral cooperation. Specialists from both countries are expected to participate in joint forums, conferences, training sessions, and master classes. Training camps and friendly tournaments involving the national teams of Russia and Kazakhstan will also be organized, while referees will take part in exchange programs to officiate matches. In the future, broadcasts of the Russian Championship matches in Kazakhstan are also planned.
