Askar Shalkibekov Appointed Head Coach of Kazakhstan Women’s National Volleyball Team

Kazakh specialist Askar Shalkibekov has been appointed as the head coach of the Kazakhstan Women’s National Volleyball Team.

“Experienced coach Askar Shalkibekov has been appointed head coach of the Kazakhstan women’s national team.

Over the past three years, the qualified specialist led the ‘Turan’ club, which became the Kazakhstan champion in 2024 under his guidance. In addition, the team won the Kazakhstan Cup last year and secured bronze medals in the national championship this season.

In the upcoming season, the Kazakhstan women’s national team will participate in several major international tournaments:
