Kazakhstan Match Schedule for Central Asian Championship Released

The CAVA Women's Volleyball Championship 2026 will take place in Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal, from May 22 to 29.

Kazakhstan, coached by Askar Shalkibekov, will begin the tournament in Group B alongside Iran, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh.

Group A consists of Nepal, India, Kyrgyzstan, and the Maldives.

During the group stage, teams will play a single round-robin format, with the top two teams from each group advancing to the semifinals.

Kazakhstan Women’s National Team Schedule — Group Stage of the 2026 Central Asian Championship:

• May 23: Kazakhstan vs Sri Lanka;
• May 24: Kazakhstan vs Bangladesh;
• May 25: Kazakhstan vs Iran.

It should be noted that the previous two editions of the CAVA Women's Volleyball Championship, held in 2024 and 2025, took place without Kazakhstan’s participation.

Earlier, the roster of Kazakhstan’s women’s national team for the upcoming tournament was also announced.

The name of the new head coach of Kazakhstan’s national volleyball team has also become known.
